Three middle age best friends discover their true selves and what is important in life when they decide to head to Bombay India in search of Trevor's long lost Bollywood love from more than a decade ago. Trevor (Tom Wilkinson) is a self centered international star with an ex-wife and a daughter he needs to spend more time with. Lance (David Strathairn) is a 'straight' soap opera hunk struggling with his sexuality and Bobby (Brendan Gleeson) a disheveled man trying to discover the tools to love his wife and ignite the passion they so desire. This will be a trip that will change their lives forever. The film is as funny, as it is poignant, with strong characters within a universal story.
